The Fruit of Family | Royal Rewiring
Pastor Chris Pletcher
The story of history is the story of God redeeming and restoring a loyal covenant family on the earth by rescuing rebel children from the darkness and adopting them back into His house through the blood of His son.
Ephesians 2:1-3
You were dead in your offenses and sins, in which you previously walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. Among them we too all previously lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the rest.
This is why life feels the way it feels. This is why your story has such dark chapters and deep regrets. This is why people do such awful things to each other. This is why, in spite of the incredible beauty and potential that life has, it almost always falls short and fails to be all that we hope it can be. BUT GOD.
Ephesians 2:4-8
But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our wrongdoings, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the boundless riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.
A RESURRECTION MIRACLE HAS TO TAKE PLACE FOR SALVATION TO OCCUR.
Revelation 5:6-11
For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will hardly die for a righteous person; though perhaps for the good person someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only this, but we also celebrate in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
Revelation 5:12-13
Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, so death spread to all mankind, because all sinned... death reigned from Adam until Moses...
Revelation 5:15
But the gracious gift is not like the offense. For if by the offense of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many...
Revelation 5:17
For if by the offense of the one, death reigned through the one, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
Through the gift of God's GRACE, God has made a way for us to REIGN WITH HIM AGAIN. He is giving us back the keys to the Kingdom!
Proverbs 23:7
"As he thinks within himself, so he is."
Ephesians 4:22-24
"In reference to your former way of life, you are to rid yourselves of the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, and that you are to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth."
